Wish me luck!ĭefault OST/PST max size for Outlook 2010 and above is 50GB. This shit has been a thorn in my side since I started and this thread has helped me persuade the powers that be that it's time to start trying something different NOW. ***EDIT: Thanks so much for all of the advice.
So is Outlook really this awful, or are we just managing it terribly? Any advice? The problems I listed above are just our most common issues, but we have constant problems with Outlook while the rest of the Office suite is rock solid. That being said, I can't seem to find a common denominator among all of the cases that we get where rebuilding the profile ends up being the best option. Other times, it will refuse to update, 'verify data integrity' or just be painfully slow even if the mailbox size is very small. For some users (but not all?), Outlook almost ceases to function when they hit the 25-35GB mark.
We're currently running Outlook 2010 (yes, I know) with O365 and so many of our tickets have to do with 'Outlook not working' for one reason or another.
